Sour Candy is a great name for a future bass track that is so cute.
First off, the bass.
The first half of the drop has a growling dubstep-like wobble. The second half has a sub-bass followed with the kick, the sub-bass also has like a Marshmello - Alone sub-bass rise. I'll rate the bass, 4 stars.
Next, the chords.
The chords sound like seventh chords, which is perfect for future bass. They're even saw waves, Saw waves are always needed for every electronic track. They even rise with the sub-bass. I'll rate the chords, 5 stars.
Next, the melody.
The melody sounds very square-ish, I'm not even sure if there are saw waves in the melody, but it's possible. Saw and square mixed together sounds good, it gives that pluck-ish feeling. I'll rate the melody, 4 stars.
Next, the drums.
The kick has bass, it absolutely fits with the sub-bass like trap music. The snare sounds 808-ish, there could be a clap in there, I like claps. The hi-hats are swinging, I like swinging hi-hats. You could use ride cymbals every beat. I'll rate the drums, 4 stars.
Last, but not least, the SFX.
The cute "boom!" is very cute, so cute that I'll die from cuteness. The "WOOOH!" will make the party harder, even the neighbours will party. Personally, I like the cute one better.
The "pi, pi" feels like Pikachu for some reason. If it feels copyright-infringing, it will slightly lose its cute taste. The other SFX seems alright, it's not like I turned up the volume or anything, baka. I'll rate it, 4 stars. I hope I'll hear some more work from you!
